Vanilla essence also protects us from inflammation and may lower cholesterol. It contains many minerals and vitamins for general wellbeing.
Maple Syrup
Pure maple syrup contains many nutrients including zinc, potassium, manganese, thiamine, calcium, iron, magnesium, and riboflavin. It contains less fructose than honey, dates or agave.
Kefir Yoghurt
Kefir is a cultured, fermented milk drink that contains a broad range of beneficial bacteria and yeasts, which work together to support the growth of important beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract.
It is a much more potent source of probiotics than other fermented dairy products such as yoghurt, and is full of natural vitamins and minerals.
Kefir is easily digested and is well tolerated by people with lactose intolerance as it contains lactase, the enzyme that breaks down lactose.
You can also use regular yoghurt or other plant-based yoghurts in the smoothies.
